Privacy Policy for Anthony Test Cards

Anthony Test Cards is a simple Chrome extension made to help QA engineers and developers quickly access and generate test card numbers. Everything the extension does stays on your device.

What Data We Collect

We don’t collect anything about you.
We don’t send anything to our servers (because we don’t have any).
We don’t sell or share information with anyone.

What the Extension Handles

The extension creates test card data (like PAN, CVC, and expiry) directly inside your browser.
This information exists only while you are using the extension and is not sent anywhere.

What We Store on Your Device

To make the extension easier to use, we save a few preferences on your device:

• your favorite test cards

• whether the panel was open or closed

• whether you prefer compact mode

These settings stay only on your device.

Network Usage

The extension never connects to the internet.

No tracking.

No analytics.

No external API calls.

Zero network traffic.

Permissions We Use and Why

• activeTab + scripting — used only to show the extension panel on the page you are viewing.

• storage — used to save your local preferences.

• host_permissions (<all_urls>) — lets the extension show its panel on any page you choose. The extension does not read the page’s content; it only adds its own UI.

We request only the permissions needed for the extension to work.

Your Privacy

Everything stays on your device.
Nothing leaves your browser.
You stay in complete control.
